NARRATIVE

GOAL

  •         PLAN A MULTI-SHOT STRATERGY

For many players, simply trying to destroy the most pigs on each turn is their entire strategy. Unfortunately, this will not typically lead to three-star scores. Especially on the harder levels, it can be difficult to even get one-star scores this way.

  • TAKE AIM

If half the battle is knowing where you want your shot to go, the other half is actually getting it to go there. This requires aiming the slingshot in exactly the right direction with exactly the correct amount of force.

  • USING LESS BIRDS IS (ALMOST) ALWAYS NECESSARY

It’s rare to get a three-star score by using all the birds in a level’s arsenal. The 10,000 point bird bonus is too big to pass up. If you destroy almost everything in sight and still get only one or two stars, it’s a sure bet that you’ll need to accomplish the same result with fewer birds.

  • LEARNING THE PLUSES AND MINUSES OF EACH TYPE OF BIRD
By learning the subtle characteristics of each bird, you’ll be able to determine the exact shot that takes maximum advantage of each birds’ specific assets.

  • TAKING HORIZONTAL VS. VERTICAL SHOTS

Most often, especially for red, black, and yellow birds, you aim the bird to go from left to right, with a minimal arc. This leads to hitting the objects with the most force.

  • KNOWING YOUR BLOCKS
Doing the most damage per shot requires finding the weak spots in the construction of blocks. If you can’t break through a thick piece of wood or stone, look for its underlying support. If you can knock that out, you may cause the section to entirely collapse — with the blocks above destroyed as a result.

  OBSTACLES
       - Each level starts with the number, types, and order of birds pre-determined. If all of the pigs are defeated by the  time the last bird is used, the level is completed and the next level is unlocked.
       - Points are scored for each pig defeated as well as for damage to, or destruction of, structures, and bonus points are awarded for any unused birds. Upon completing each level, players receive one, two, or three stars, depending on the score received.
       - Players may re-attempt unlocked levels as many times as they wish in order to complete them successfully or to earn additional points or stars.

TASK 5 :
TASK 6 : CHOOSE A GAME CONSIST A NARRATIVE WITH CHARACTERS. LIST THE FUNCTION OF EACH CHARACTER.

this prince seems to be very kind and passionate. he is very loyal to the princess.he risks his life for her in every game.even so,he is able to kill his opponents without hesitation ,showing he has a ruthlesa side when it comes to protect his family.

                                                                     DARK PRINCE
Grim character, only appearing in the two thrones, reveals that he is a manifestation of all the Prince's dark attributes. He, for the most part, is a disembodied voice which constantly taunts the Prince, as well as advise him on how to defeat his enemies. The transformation is then reversed when the Prince comes in contact with water.

TASK 3: CHOOSE A GAME YOU DISLIKE AND ANALYSE ITS GAMEPLAY TYPE.

THE GAMES THAT I DISLIKE..
THE GAME TYPE:  CHESS GAME

Perhaps because i feel it is unfair that someone can win if they have less pieces on the board that numbers alone do not give victory.

Because there is no resource gathering or re-enforcement, or i think it unfair that a lowly pawn has an attack strength great enough to kill the queen.

because if i want to be good, i have to work at my strategy and tactics, i must analyse your opponents beforehand to look for weaknesses and exploit them.

TASK 2: NAME ONE OF YOUR FAVOURITE GAMES AND ANALYSE WHY DID YOU
                    HAVE FUN PLAYING IT.

  •  Plants Vs Zombies is the most fun I'd had playing computer games in awhile and I wanted to find    more games like it. I haven't found any games quite like PVZ

  •   plants vs zombies pose a challenge to me in strategy to win.

Plants vs Zombies Game is a tower defense video game developed and published by PopCap Games for Windows, Mac OS X, and iPhone OS. The game involves a homeowner using many varieties of plants to repel an army of zombies. The homeowner, along with a neighbor called Crazy Dave, must defend the homeowner's house during day or night, in the front yard and the backyard (including the swimming pool), and even on the roof. It was released on May 5, 2009 and made available on Steam on the same day. An Xbox 360 version is reported to be in development, and was announced at Casual Connect in July 2009. The game received a positive response from critics, and was nominated for multiple Interactive Achievement Awards, alongside receiving praise for its musical score.

Get ready to soil your plants in an all-new action-strategy game from PopCap.com! A mob of fun-loving zombies is about to invade your home, and your only defense is an arsenal of 49 zombie-zapping plants. Use peashooterswall-nutscherry bombs and more to mulchify 26 types of zombies before they can reach your front door.
Each zombie has its own special skills, so you’ll need to think fast and plant faster to combat them all. But be careful how you use your limited supply of greens and seeds… as you battle the fun-dead, obstacles like a setting sun, creeping fog and a swimming pool add to the challenge. And with five game modes to dig into, the fun never dies!

TASK 1 : CHOOSE OF YOUR FAVOURITE GAMES AND DISSECT THE GAMES
ACCORDING TO ITS STRUCTURAL ELEMENTS

                             Plants VS  Zombies
THE GAMES THAT INTERESTING TO ME

                       FEEDBACK,GOAL AND RULES
                                     OF THE GAMES

   FEEDBACK..
  • Plants vs. Zombies is a fun, funny, and remarkably well-designed game that should prove addictive for newcomers to tower-defense games, as well as challenging and satisfying to serious fans of this real-time-strategy subgenre.
  • The interface and gameplay start out simply: you must plant seeds, collect sunlight, and tend a gridded garden that is your only defense against ravenous waves of the cartoonish undead.
  • Zombies advance right to left in rows, and you have to decide which kind of plants to use and where to put them, whether you choose sunflowers to accelerate sunlight production or a variety of other plants to shoot, chomp, freeze, block, or otherwise frustrate the zombies.

GOALS..

  • The goal is to destroy all the zombies before they reach your house and "eat your brains", and keep  enough sunflowers alive,to earn 'sunshine' so you can grow them fighting plants.zombies stagger at you throughout the level, but are concentrated into 'waves',there may be one or two per level this is when everything  gets that much more intense.
  • Because you require 'sunshine' from sunflowers (and also a special mushroom) in order to buy / grow any other type of plant your first goal should be to have as many sunflower as possible. On the early levels you need a minimum of three ,but by the end of level 3 you really need to be looking at six to eight.
  •  keep your sunflowers as close to the house as possible, zombies should have to traverse the entire lane     before getting close to a sunflower. this will give you as much time as possible to get more sunshine so you can stop the zombie.
  • Plants VS Zombies uses a lane and grid system, and the zombies stick to thier lanes you can distract them while you acquire more sunshine to start fighting back.Using the walnuts at the very top of the lanes will keep the zombies munching away long enough for you to stock up on sunshine and get a peashooter to start firing.
     NIGHT :
  •  At night, the early levels don't feature too many graves, but they will eventually get so numerous you have to invest in the grave buster to free up some space.
     POOL:
  • On the pool levels, the zombies don;t take the water straight away so you can focus on the grass lanes before tackling the pool.Zombies have to chew through lilypads, even if there is nothing on them, meaning its a fast and cheap way tostall them while you install some bigger weapons.
    FOG:
  •  During the fog,'planters' do last longer than the Blover's-but zombies can munch through them.Best to use the more expensive Blover, get your pattern well established before the waves come, then its not a major catastrophe if the frog returns.
    ROOF:
  • When you make it to the roof levels, still have some peashooters in your arsenal.

RULES..
  • Plants vs. Zombies takes place on a lawn divided into rows and columns. Just beyond the left edge of the screen is your house, while just beyond the right side of the screen is the street.
  • At the top of the screen is a seed tray that displays your current amount of sun (we'll get to this later), as well as whatever seed packets you have available.
  • Zombies slowly move from right to left, from the street towards your home. Your job is to stop the zombie attack by collecting sun and using it to buy various defensive plants to place on your lawn. If a zombie makes it all the way to the left side of the screen, the game is over.

  • You score points by defeating zombies. The faster you send the zombies packing, the higher your score.                                                                                                                                            SUN
  • Sun is the primary resource in Plants vs. Zombies. All plants in the game are purchased with sun, so managing your sun supply is one of the most important keys to success.
  • Sun occasionally drops in from the sky in 25-sun units. While useful, this natural source of sun is insufficient to mount a serious defense against the zombies.
  • The Sunflower grows 25-sun units of its own, and you'll have to plant enough of them to generate enough sun to defend your lawn.
  • Sun units, either falling from the sky or generated by Sunflowers, eventually fall to the ground and vanish if they're not clicked.

         PLANTS AND PLANTING

  • Plants are your warriors against the encroaching zombie army. There are many different plants with many different abilities. Some plants fire projectiles that damage zombies; some block or slow the zombies' progress; some destroy zombies and themselves in a single instant; and some have entirely different functions.
  • Plants are planted from the seed tray at the top of the screen. All plants cost some amount of sun to plant. Note that any available seed packs take time to recharge.
  • A recharging seed pack is grayed out as it recharges. When the seed pack is fully recharged, it lights up and you can plant it again.
  • The Sunflower will always be the first plant in your seed tray. You will be free to choose the remaining plants in your arsenal.
